Surfing Everyday
Holy shit surfing takes alot out of you, especially when you go twice a day for a few hours each time. It's amazing though, the people are awesome and the beaches are unreal. In the house there are people from japan, scotland, holland, alaska, germany and new zealand, so we are a pretty diverse mix. All we do is eat surf, drink and sleep. We are on the most southerly point of a place called ninety mile beach, and yes the name says it all. Anyway it's lunch now so i had better go get some.

Leaving Auckland
We are about to leave to Ahipara this morning. It will be nice to get out of the city and into the country. We got totally sunburnt yesterday so the surf tour may be a little rough at first. The first thing chelsey and i noticed when we got to auckland was that it seriously had as many asians as hongcouver. I guess we just weren't expecting that haha. Our hostel room here is ok just small and boring, but thats ok as we spent all of our time walking around the city. We went swimming in the ocean yesterday at mission bay which was awesome but then the sun got to be too much for our northern skin. I guess a 50 degree tempreture swing is too much for us. Now we just have to pack and we are off to the pick up point for the surf tour. Hopefully they have free WiFi so i can do a bit more on the blog.

I hate transit time...
Here we are stuck in the Van airport for a couple hours then we are off to LA, five hours there, then Fiji, five hours there, then Auckland. Twenty eight hours total transit time, fluck. O well the final destination will be worth it. Also the we got the flights for 800 bucks, which is a steal of a deal thats the main reason we have such long lay overs. We start our awesome surf tour on the 14th and after that we have a camper van rented so we can explore the whole country. EXCITED....
